Steve Boose, founder and former owner, is the General Manager of Building Air Services HVAC, LLC. (BAS). For the past 35 years Steve has been involved in the HVAC/R world. He started off as a technician, performing all types of commercial service, installation and maintenance performance efforts, moved into branch management, and ultimately started his own commercial HVAC/R businesses 24 years ago. He worked hard to build a strong team of HVAC/R professionals, who’s expertise in quoting, service, installations and customer support created a strong, customer-focused organization. Steve takes great pride in the fact that BAS has never lost a client in all of their years in business, and is recognized throughout the industry for outstanding performance and customer support. Steve partnered with CoolSys in October of 2019 and he and the entire BAS team have had a very positive experience as the teams unify. The future potential is limitless!
Veronica Boose, former owner and COO, is the VP of Administration of Building Air Services HVAC, LLC. Prior to joining BAS, Veronica worked with Department of Defense and Veteran’s Administration, in program management for 20+ years, building a strong foundation of best practice implementation and client support. She joined BAS in October of 2012, and working with the outstanding BAS team, was a part of the growth experienced within the organizational and process structure. Veronica was always proud to be a part of the BAS team, and that pride continues as a member of the CoolSys team!
Nick Fox is the East Coast Regional Director of Field Operations of Building Air Services HVAC, LLC. Nick joined BAS over 16 years ago, with no HVAC/R experience. His determination and tenacity grew him from a field technician, performing all types of commercial service, installation and maintenance performance efforts, into the West Florida branch manager, where he perfected his quoting, billing and customer relations skills. Ultimately Nick became the Director of Field Operations, a position that grew so large it had to split just a few months ago. Nick has spent endless hours training his field teams, overseeing all aspects of field ops and improving field systems so that the whole of BAS operations performed more efficiently and effectively. Nick has developed many skilled technicians into effective branch managers, who along with their technicians, are the backbone of BAS field ops. Nick is quick to throw on a tool belt and hit the field with his guys as well, when it’s needed.
Brandon Wiederhold is the West Coast Regional Director of Field Operations of Building Air Services HVAC, LLC. Brandon joined BAS in early 2019, and came to the team with a rich background in all aspects of HVAC/R, starting as a technician early in his career, rising to branch management within nationally recognized commercial HVAC organizations. It quickly became apparent that Brandon’s skill in working with his teams, compiling and analyzing performance numbers and trend analysis, and expertise in communication were a huge benefit to the BAS team. Brandon has brought ideas and performance metrics to the BAS table that have changed the face of the way that we generate, analyze and manage our business. As with the entire team, Brandon can be found a second man on a job anytime it is necessary!
Mandi Fallon joined BAS eight years ago, as a service coordinator/dispatcher. Prior to BAS, she was with Johnson Controls as an account manager, and within a short period of time had proven that her talents and expertise in client relations, field to dispatch operations and people skills could be put to good use within the BAS team. Four years ago Mandi assumed the role of Corporate Director of Operations, and since that time has been responsible for managing and supporting all aspects of customer service, service coordination, dispatch and billing within corporate operations; she is also very adept at field-level branch management and support. Mandi is proud that her team has often been recognized as providing some of the highest quality of customer support, communication and billing response times in the industry!
Every technician who services your equipment is required to meet our high standards through continuous training and education. Our quality assurance managers travel to your service location to guarantee these standards are maintained on the job.
Our central dispatch unit is equipped with a continuous on-the-job communication feed with our technicians through GPS-equipped trucks and technologically integrated field service devices. This means you can get real-time updates, with photos as appropriate, along with the file history of every piece of equipment, all available to you remotely. And, our paperless invoicing is done through GPS reporting to guarantee accuracy.
